300 million people on Facebook

Mark Zuckerberg, creator of the most popular social network in the world, today announced that its virtual country continues to grow – and has just reached a staggering 300 million registrations. “It’s a high number,” he wrote in his blog site, “but we feel that we are just beginning to reach our goal of connecting everyone.” The current number is equivalent to say that every engineer that takes account of the site is responsible for one million people, proportionately, “said Mark, in the same post.

He also said his network begins to make profit. “We’re getting to the Facebook grow in a sustainable way. Earlier this year, said it expected profit from some point in 2010, but I’m happy to announce we have reached this milestone in the last quarter. This is very important to us because it allows we can be a strong and independent service in the long term. ” The comment has generated speculation about the possibility of going public service to enter the Stock Exchange American.
