Twitter Labs for applications?

Those who use Google – and who does not use? – Are already accustomed to the Labs site that the company describes as “an adventure playground where users can play with prototypes of our wildest ideas and talk directly to those who developed them.” Some of the recent announcements of the laboratory of ideas is the key that undoes the sending of an e-mail in Gmail and search of similar images on Google. Cool, eh?

So cool that it seems that the developers of Twitter like the project so that Google decided to create its in the same way. A network of microblogging is planning to create a site similar to the lab to demonstrate the applications of tomorrow, just like the engineer Britt Selvitelle let slip in his Twitter: “It was great talk of the conference Future of the Web Apps today! I just mention Twitter Labs ? Whoops! “.

There are already hundreds of applications using the Twitter API, which is open. The difference with the Labs is that the add-ons would be official, integrated into the site. Aguardemos.
